20 Minute Loop
20 Minute Loop
20 Minute Loop's Greg Giles and Kelly Atkins have been singing together for over 15 years. They've reunited with new inspiration from Kevin Seal of Griddle, to unearth a set of 20ML golden oldies and some choice gems you've yet to discover. Hear 20 Minute Loop stripped down to its foundation of seamless vocal harmonies, cinematic lyrics and topsy-turvy melodies.

Pitchfork.com describes 20 Minute Loop: "Say you've got XTC. Now subtract the TC, and pair the remainder of John Doe and Exene Cervenka with J. Robbins in a six-by-six cell haunted by Frank Black's muse, with only a Radiohead CD, a Flannery O'Connor novel, and occasional visits from the members of Seely to break the psychosis."

Virgil Shaw and the Killer Views
Virgil grew up in Fairfax, California. He began his career in Arcata, CA in the late 1980s as a member of the high energy speed-pop band Brent's T.V. He later moved to San Francisco where he played in the band Dieselhed from 1992 to 2000. When Dieselhed disbanded, Shaw began to perform and record as a solo artist, sometimes with the help of his backing band that he named "The Killer Views". After living for a time in New York City, and then in Portland, Oregon, he is once again based in San Francisco.

He has released three solo records. "Quad Cities", in 2000, "Still Falling", in 2002, and New Mid City in December 2013 , recorded mostly live with his band, and engineered and produced by Kelley Stoltz.
