Matt Ruby
I'm a standup comedian and the creator of Vooza.com, a video comic strip about the tech world (aka "The Spinal Tap of startups"). I've been featured on MTV, CNN.com, The Huffington Post, NY Magazine, Time Out NY ("Joke of the Year" nominee), ComedySmack (Winner of Best Web Short of the Year), Gawker, and lots of other places. I've appeared across the country at comedy venues and festivals (including SXSW, Bridgetown, NY Comedy Contest, SF Comedy Contest, Boston Comedy Festival, and the New Orleans Comedy and Arts Festival).
I'm a co-producer of Hot Soup, a standup show in NYC. And once a month, Mark Normand and I cohost We're All Friends Here, "the comedy chat show with boundary issues" that's also a podcast.
Sandpaper Suit is the name of my comedy blog. It was nominated for Best Comedy Website by The ECNY awards. OK, now you can get on with your life.

Torio Van Grol
Torio Van Grol was first discovered by a gentleman naturalist in 1676, causing an uproar among the clergy, who claimed that he was placed on Earth by God as a test of faith. After much careful study, Torio has been widely accepted as real, though some controversy lingers. Many people believe that early humans coexisted peacefully with him, even caring for him and riding on his back as a form of transportation.
But Torio is not strong enough to carry people, instead relying on speed, cunning and a bulletproof eBay rating for survival. His primary habitat is the comedy clubs of the Bay Area, California, but he has been spotted as far south as San Diego and as far north as Sonoma, grazing on the region's naturally plentiful burritos. Torio is highly prized for his jokes, which are rumored to have aphrodisiacal properties. He is both fascinating and terrifying to children.
Torio produces comedy shows throughout the bay, including the popular Back Alley Comedy shows that began in Sonoma. He recently performed in the Rooster T. Feathers comedy competition, in which he finished runner-up, and was apart of the Santa Cruz Fringe Festival and Sacramento Comedy Fest in 2014.

Sam DiSalvo
Sam DiSalvo is a Reno-bred, Bay Area-based comedian. She got her start performing improv with the best (and only) Reno improv troupe at the time. She then began doing standup in the Biggest Little City and won a keg of beer for telling Dilbert jokes. With this accolade under her belt, she moved to San Francisco and now performs all over the Bay. Sam's comedy features hilariously uncomfortable anecdotes, confessions and observations. All of her dick jokes are highly intellectual. She has been called "brave" by her coworkers and "maybe too honest" by her mother.
Sam produces four successful shows in San Francisco. She runs the monthly standup show More Fun at Blondie's with her friends and fellow comics Priyanka Wali and Mark Shrayber in SF's Mission District. Comedian Michael Taylor and Sam host Shame at the Hotel Utah Saloon where comics tell funny stories of their most humiliating moments. She helps produce This Week's Show at Fort 1 in San Francisco every Wednesday. In addition, she and comic Mikey Walz run a monthly nostalgia show at PianoFight called TGIF'd that takes old sitcoms, puts them on mute and has comics improvise new lines for the characters. The show also features trivia with prizes for audience members. All of these shows have been known to have intermittent dance parties.
